Researchers at Wayne State University will be conducting a research study in collaboration with Can Do MS for the How to Reduce Your Risk of Falling Coaching Series. Participation is voluntary. The primary goals of this study are to examine changes in fall risk, including fear of falling and balance confidence, and to determine the impact of the Coaching Series on community mobility and participation. Participants will be asked to complete surveys at three time points (before, after, and 3 months after the Coaching Series). In the 3 months after the Coaching Series, participants will be asked to report falls on a weekly basis.  A few participants will be selected to receive Amazon gift cards. If you are interested, additional information will be provided to “opt-in” to the study closer to the March 12 start date.
